The Maintenance Technician will perform repairs and maintenance of various types of facilities, exterior and interior, including retail locations, warehouses, office buildings and small cell shelters. This role requires prompt response to maintenance tickets, efficient prioritization of repairs and strategic scheduling to minimize disruptions and unnecessary return trips. This Tech will provide technical assistance both in person and remotely to resolve issues.

They use expertise in plumbing, welding, carpentry, and need to have a basic understanding of project scope.

• Monitor and respond to maintenance tickets and ensure communication with the ticket owner
• Prepare and organize tools, materials, equipment necessary for maintenance projects assigned
• Maintain the upkeep of buildings interior and exterior
• Ensure proper recordkeeping and tracking of project progress
• Follow established schedule and work with supervisor on modifications
• Conduct routine inspections to identify needs and potential issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently
• Assist with large projects
• Supervise and oversee tradesmen for quality standards when required
• Adhere to quality standards and health and safety regulations

• Proven 3 years’ experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role
• High School diploma, vocational training in related field preferred
• Must be able to travel throughout the assigned region, which can include overnight stays when needed
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, repair techniques and maintenance procedures
• Ability to plan your tasks for efficiency and cost control
• Be detail oriented and use critical thinking to solve maintenance challenges
• Ability to lift to 100lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record for the past 3-5 years, valid driver's license, clean or acceptable criminal background check, and clean substance screening
