The Role .
** As a Custodian supporting our Sanitation team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by performing general cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility. This role will require a working schedule on B crew 6pm to 6am.
** Accountabilities:
*** Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and other facility areas.
* Clean and sanitize hard surfaces, including floors and restroom areas.
* Empty trash containers, replace liners, and replenish supplies.
* Follow proper procedures when using cleaning chemicals, including MSDS information and HACCP requirements.
* Identify and report unusual or potentially hazardous sanitation conditions.
* Assist with special projects such as painting and deep cleaning as needed.
* Follow all plant safety procedures, GMPs, PPE requirements, and company policies.
* Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.

* Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to read and follow basic instructions and safety procedures.
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include wet or humid conditions, airborne particles, chemicals, and varying noise levels.
* Ability to perform a physically active role that includes walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
* Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Willingness to wear required PPE, which may include protective footwear, gloves, hairnets, sleeves, waterproof suits, hearing protection, and goggles.
