The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of plant operations in carrying out company objectives at the lowest cost consistent with safety and quality requirements.

• Oversee overall plant operations including safety, finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, quality assurance and control, information systems, environment, public, supplier, government and customer relations
• Ensures positive relations and a highly collaborative approach with internal/external stakeholders and community
• Proactively foster and promote safe work habits of employees; ensures safety policies and procedures are followed
• Active participation in health & safety initiatives, taking a lead role in safety optimization toward zero incidents; leads positive safety culture and engagement
• Set direction through setting strategic objectives for the plant, accountable for achievement of plant performance objectives and enable a highly engaged environment through leadership practices and action planning, inclusion focused and supporting McCain’s winning culture and core values – family, authentic, quality, and trusted
• Lead and oversee cost commitments, SCA – sustainable cost advantage, overhead and direct cost budgets for each fiscal year, championing continuous improvement through active engagement of the plant team in overall capability building
• Champion a growth mindset and talent development focus for the facility, leading key activities and ensuring targeted development and overall organizational effectiveness; ensure all departments are working together to realize McCain objectives
• Ensure audit‑ready compliance focused on food safety, environmental policies, site emergency preparedness and crisis management

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Science or Business or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience
• Minimum 8 years of proven manufacturing experience in a food or beverage setting
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a collaborative and customer‑focused way that drives results and engagement
• Accountability to safety practices and principles for employees and products
• Embodies company values – authentic, committed, and trusted; focuses on doing the right thing and building genuine relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
• Deep understanding of financial practices and continuous improvement
