Material Handler

We are currently seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our Fabrication/Profiling department. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving, staging, and supplying materials to ensure efficient production flow.
Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help maintain organized operations, support production schedules, and ensure materials are available when needed.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Range: $ per hour (Starting rate commensurate with experience)
$1,000 Hiring Bonus paid over your first year of employment
First Shift
Monday – Thursday
6:00
Am-4:30PM
4-Day Work Week
Key Responsibilities
- Move raw materials and finished parts to and from fabrication and profiling work areas.
- Supply production equipment with the appropriate materials according to work orders and schedules.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and storage areas.
- Stage materials for upcoming jobs to support efficient workflow.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cranes (as required).
- Verify materials, quantities, and part numbers against work orders and production documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and assist with inventory control as needed.
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Previous material handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, and production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required (up to 60 lbs.).
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
