Chief Fabrication

Responsible for reading blueprints or schematics and assembling components or products according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics.
- Interpreting blueprints, handling various tools, and ensuring the quality of the assembled parts.
- Responsible for inventory control of component parts and assemblies.
- Moves material as needed using forklift, overhead crane, or other methods of material handling as authorized.
- Uses proper safety equipment.
- Completes production reports and other documentation.
- Keeps work area neat and orderly.
- Uses proper safety equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Education:
- High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
