LDRP RN – Job Summary Breakdown

• Must live 50+ miles away
• Driver’s license required at submittal (used to verify radius)

• Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
  → Refusal to remove = termination
• RN Orientation Exam
  • Open-book skills exam (Friday during orientation)
  • Must score 90% to pass
  • Pass/Fail (Failure = contract termination)

Birth Volume: ~400 births/year

• 15 LDRP beds
• 15 Postpartum beds

• BLS
• NRP
• Minimum 3 years Labor & Delivery experience

• Obstetrics
• Antepartum & Postpartum
• Post-surgical GYN
• Pregnancy with HTN
• Pregnancy with Diabetes

• 1:3
• 1:1 for active labor patients

• Must titrate drips
  • Pitocin
  • Magnesium (Mag)
  • Procardia

• Rare (critical staffing only)
• If floated → sit or task-based support only

• Yes, on each shift
• Charge may take assignment

• No tele/monitor techs
• No vent management required
• No strip reading required

• 12-hour shifts (6–7)
• Schedule made by manager
• Every other weekend
• Holidays if needed
• No call or standby

• 1 week classroom
• 2–3 floor shifts

• Blue Distinction+ recognized unit

• Max 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
