RN Operating Room (OR) – Days + Call
Location: Grand Island, NE 68803
Pay: $3000/week
Shift: 8-Hour Days (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) + Call
Duration: 13 Weeks (extension possible)

We are seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse who is confident working across multiple service lines, including Neuro (Level 3–4 cases required). This role requires adaptability, as the team does not operate in specialty silos—nurses must be well-rounded and comfortable assisting in a wide variety of procedures.

• Active RN License (NE or Compact)
• BLS & ACLS Certification – Required
• Strong multi-specialty OR experience (no specialization only background)
• Neuro experience (Level 3 & 4 cases) – Required
• Experience with all major service lines
• Driver’s License required at submission

• Circulate and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile field and ensure OR safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs
• Prepare OR rooms, instruments, and equipment
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and document in EPIC EMR
• Assist in robotic (DaVinci) and trauma cases as needed
• Float to Pre/Post-Op, PACU, or ER (trauma) if trained

• 7 OR Suites + 2 Endoscopy Suites
• Cases include: Neuro, ENT, Ortho, GYN, General Surgery, Robotics, Pediatrics, OB
• Dedicated Charge Nurse and OR Tech support
• Strong team culture with long-tenured staff

• 5x8-hour shifts (Days)
• Call:
  • 1 weekday call shift per week
  • Every 5th–6th weekend (Sat/Sun) on call
  • Rotating holiday call

• Pass/Fail Exam (≥90%) during orientation (open book)
• Orientation: 1 week in OR
• Floating required based on skillset
• Scrubs provided
• No artificial nails allowed (strict policy)

• Radius Rule: 50 miles
• Must not have worked with Common Spirit/CHI/Dignity in the past year
• Candidates must be flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable in a high-acuity OR
