Position: RN Long Term Care (LTC) - FT Days

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The role collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and team-based nursing care in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting.
  • Conduct resident assessments and develop care plans based on age- and population-specific standards.
  • Coordinate care, educate residents, and perform nursing interventions for all phases of preventive care, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Serve as charge nurse when required, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within job descriptions and competency levels.
  • Ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care and resolve care and service concerns.
  • Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, state administrative rules, and nursing practice standards, including the American Nurses Association code of ethics.
Qualifications
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice (or multistate licensure via the Nurse Licensure Compact).
  • Maintains required competencies and certifications for the assigned clinical setting.
