Long Term Care (LTC) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Sanford Health, a leading rural health system, is seeking a dedicated LTC LPN to provide quality nursing care for residents of all ages. This position offers night shift coverage with a 12‑hour shift and rotating weekends/holidays, with shift differentials available for night and weekend work.

• Shift: 12‑hour night shift, rotating weekends and holidays (shift differentials available)
• Weekly hours: 24
• Salary range: $24.75 – $36.00 per hour
• Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 available

• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and provide care within the full scope of LPN practice, adhering to age and population‑specific standards.
• Perform assessments, administer medications or treatments as ordered, and conduct tests to evaluate resident status.
• Recognize medical problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents and document all interactions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, and counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and hold an unencumbered LPN license in the State of North Dakota (or multi‑state privileges).
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• If IV therapy is required, completion of a Board‑approved AASPN IV therapy curriculum or approved course (North Dakota) is required.
• Minimum 400 hours LPN experience (or supervised clinical experience across lifespan).
• Current and maintained required competencies and certifications; annual CEU and training completion.
