Work Shift:

12 Hours – Night Shifts (United States of America). Scheduled Weekly

Salary Range: $35.00 – $48.00. Sign On Bonus Available! Union Position:
No. Shift: 6pm – 6am Rotating weekends and holidays. Shift differentials available for night and weekend shifts.

Summary

The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents and families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Responsibilities
  • Employ the full nursing process to deliver individualized care to residents.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care plans.
  • Provide preventive, diagnostic, treatment and health‑maintenance care for residents across all phases.
  • Coordinate resident assessment, education and other nursing interventions.
  • May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel in accordance with job descriptions, skills, resident needs and delegate competence.
  • Provide guidance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable resident care and resolve care and service concerns.
  • Operate within the nursing practice scope and standards as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and state rules.
  • Adhere to the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with interpretive statements published by the American Nurses Association.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN or NLN CNEA) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing is practiced, or possesses multistate licensure under a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
  • Obtain and subsequently maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
