Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering professional nursing care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting, under supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, and ensure resident safety, comfort, and well-being.
- Recognize problems, respond to emergencies, and contribute to care planning and resident education.
- Document interactions, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Provide technical support and counseling to residents and their families as directed.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, current LPN licensure, with preferred associate degree. Additional certifications may be required based on specific services offered.
Skills: Strong communication, ability to work within an interdisciplinary team, problem-solving, and knowledge of resident care standards. Ability to perform clinical testing and respond effectively to emergent situations.
Key Duties: Providing comprehensive nursing care, documenting resident interactions, maintaining competencies, and adhering to licensing and training requirements.
