Shift & Location

Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. Full‑time onsite position in Sheridan, WY.

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour. Salary determined by geographic location, experience, education, and internal equity.

In this Scientist 1 role, you will conduct hands‑on analysis within our laboratories, ensuring the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

• Perform, support, and oversee the analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high‑quality, organized laboratory records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field – or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, handling strong odors, and wearing required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).

Mobility to work in a lab and office setting, use of standard office and lab equipment, stamina to sit for extended periods, occasional lifting of up to 20lbs, frequent lifting of up to 10lbs, vision and hearing requirements, and the ability to communicate in person or by telephone.

Work is performed in a lab and office setting, with exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, and noxious odors.
