Pay range: $20.50 – $22.50 per hour (base). Full range: $20.50 – $34.85 per hour depending on factors such as labor market, education, experience, and certifications.
Responsibilities- Maintain a guest‑first culture across all departments, ensuring consistent delivery of Target’s guest experience commitments.
- Observe, coach, and hold team members accountable for guest experience and operations, recognizing exemplary service moments.
- Analyze area metrics (guest, financial, team) to identify improvement opportunities and align the team on behaviors that drive results.
- Plan daily/weekly workload to support business priorities, sales goals, and guest engagement, including merchandising plans, sales plans, events, and promotions.
- Lead and develop a team of hourly consultants, providing interview, coaching, evaluation, and retention support.
- Assign daily tasks based on workload and guest traffic patterns, ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly priorities.
- Encourage team use of available tools (fitting room, testers, displays) to promote personalized guest recommendations.
- Partner with third‑party vendors to maintain brand standards and merchandising planograms, and ensure set readiness.
- Support visual merchandising initiatives: product organization, signage, and seasonal trend alignment.
- Manage back‑room processes, organization, layout, and replenishment to keep product available for guests.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Promote a safe and ethical work environment, modeling physical security processes and reporting injuries promptly.
- Assist with compliance and guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up, and drive‑up, maintaining knowledge of applicable laws.
- Perform additional duties as required by business needs and occasional store‑level leadership on duty (LOD).
- High school diploma or equivalent; 18 years of age or older.
- Retail experience preferred, not required.
- Ability to lead, hold others accountable, and communicate across multiple channels.
- Proficient with handheld scanners and other store technology.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and independent work skills.
- Friendly, helpful attitude toward guests and coworkers.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Calmness and focus in a fast‑paced environment.
- Access to all parts of the building for guest or team support.

- Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 15–44 pounds, and work in varying temperatures/humidity.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
