Maintenance Worker
Become a key part of a high-performing team in Grand Island, NE at a world-class manufacturer, in a safe and friendly environment!
Job Duties:
- Perform advanced maintenance across multiple trades, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, and boiler systems
- Diagnose, repair, install, and modify complex production equipment and building systems
- Troubleshoot electric controls, circuit boards, hydraulic, pneumatic, and air logic systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and modern electrical and mechanical diagnostic equipment
- Work independently or with factory service technicians on major repairs and technical issues
- Develop solutions and methods when standard procedures are not available
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications to plan and complete work
- Train, instruct, and support less experienced mechanics and trainees
- Maintain TPM standards, quality, accuracy, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Keep maintenance records current and update prints and specifications as needed
- Detect and report faulty equipment, improper operation, and unsafe conditions
- Move materials as required and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
Shift: 3rd shift
Hours:
9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
