Supply Chain, Procurement & Transportation Grand Island,Nebraska
Overview:Responsible for accurate case scaling, palletizing, order fulfillment, and safe operation of shipping equipment. Ensures inventory accuracy, supports rework activities, and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
Responsibilities:- Operate and perform basic maintenance on auto scale and reweigh station
- Stack 45–50 lb boxes repeatedly by product code
- Assist with rework and case repair
- Submit daily scale adjustment reports
- Maintain sanitation of work area
- Safely operate forklift and pallet jack
- Load trucks by hand or equipment (up to 50 lbs per case)
- Accurately fill customer orders using Telxon
- Report shipping issues to Supervisor or Lead
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
- Ability to pass Prove It test
- Lift up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Valid forklift/pallet jack license or ability to obtain
- Ability to work in cold environments
- Ability to learn new procedures (barcode scanner, stacking grids, equipment)
- Familiarity with computer systems
- Variable hours; excellent attendance required
