Position Summary

The Family Preservation Supervisor oversees Family Preservation staff within an assigned region, ensuring quality services that promote child safety, family stability, and well‑being. This role provides clinical and administrative supervision, supports staff development, ensures contract and policy compliance, coordinates services with community partners, and serves as a liaison with courts and other agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support Family Preservation Case Managers and Family Support Workers.
  • Provide coaching, training, and trauma‑informed supervision to staff.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant case documentation and service delivery.
  • Coordinate with courts, community partners, and public/private agencies to meet family needs.
  • Monitor referrals, assign cases, and oversee contract compliance.
  • Facilitate team meetings, staff development, and program planning activities.
  • Provide crisis intervention and on‑call support as needed.
  • Compile reports, maintain data systems, and ensure accurate program reporting.
  • Promote cultural responsiveness, teamwork, and positive outcomes for children and families.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field preferred;
    Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required.
  • Current Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board licensure (LBSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LCP, or equivalent) required.
  • Supervisory experience in child welfare, family services, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving requirements.
