Responsible for supporting various functions in the company’s Distribution Center. role in a warehouse environment. Will assist with unloading and loading product, picking, and packing, with the goal to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Position will also serve as a back-up inter-store driver. This position is Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm.

• Utilize stand-up forklift to move product around the Distribution Center.
• Load and wrap pallets for shipment with various carriers.
• Ensure that shelves are kept at proper stocking levels and are in and orderly condition.
• Pull merchandise for customer orders and properly prepare for delivery.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

• Safely load, deliver, and unload deliveries to other Eakes locations.
• Ensure all supply deliveries are completed correctly, courteously, and efficiently.

• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general interior and exterior building maintenance as needed.

• High school education or equivalent desirable
• Delivery/Warehouse experience preferred
• Must be able to learn how to operate a stand-up forklift
• Must be able to pass DOT physical

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to drive vans/straight trucks and manual transmission
• Ability to lift 70 pounds repeatedly, 100 pounds occasionally during the workday
• Ability to lift heavier objects with cart and/or assistance
• Ability to load/unload merchandise onto vans/trucks
