Area Manager, RSR

Overview

This position involves in‑role training at an operating site, lasting 2+ weeks at a location 50+ miles from the home site. Training travel accommodations are booked and paid for by Amazon. The role requires flexibility to work 10‑hour overnight shifts (late afternoon to early morning) and will be scheduled on a front-half (Sunday–Wednesday) or back-half (Wednesday–Saturday) cycle. Shifts are assigned on start and may change based on business needs.

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and continuously climb and descend stairs.
• Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures (delivery stations may include outside loading areas; grocery locations may include refrigerated environments).
• Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and/or overnight shifts.

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

• 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
