Paving Crew Foreman

Position Overview
The Paving Crew Foreman will be responsible for leading and supervising a paving crew in addition to tracking quantities, submitting timecards, and equipment hours electronically. The crew will patch asphalt, adjust manholes and water valves, clean and patch under guardrails, and assist with all activities associated with construction projects. Pay ranges from $26 to $28, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the crew.
- Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on jobsite, company property, and equipment.
- Daily reports for personnel, production, quantities, equipment utilized.
- May be required to use pressure washer and/or sandblasting equipment.
- Identify, understand, and report safety hazards, poor behavior, and unsafe actions immediately.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Education/
Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 3 years of experience in aggregate, asphalt, or construction industry preferred. - Work Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required. Must be willing to work nights and weekends, when necessary. Compliance with all OSHA and/or MSHA regulations.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required less than 10% of the time. - Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
Knowledge of asphalt types and classifications. Knowledge of paving techniques, best practices, and paving equipment. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently under a variety of working conditions. Ability to recognize hazardous conditions. - Key
