Position OverviewThis is a skilled position requiring the individual to effectively schedule and dispatch equipment mobilization and orders from customers. This position requires speaking with customers on the phone, making good customer relations skills essential and requires a basic knowledge of the construction industry.
Wage Range$20-$23 per hour, dependent upon experience.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)- Enter data into various database programs including Excel.
- Answer telephone.
- Hauler payment processor
- Stay up to date with restrictions and escort requirements.
- Any other duties as specified per supervisor
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Knowledge of the construction industry preferred.
- 1-2 years related field experience is preferred.
- Current standard Driver’s License
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be 18 years in age or older.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Report to the office dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to operate office equipment, including but not limited to: computers, copiers, 10-key adding machine, printers, fax machines and scanners.
- Ability to get along well with a diverse staff of employees.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to fluently speak and write the English language.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, percent, land to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software.
