Location:
Grand Junction, CO
Schedule:
20-40 flexible hours per week
Salary: $45-50/hour
Position OverviewWe are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in promoting oral health and creating positive patient experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients and is passionate about patient education and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct oral health assessments and document findings
- Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist the dentist in identifying and addressing oral health concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Colorado
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
- Prior experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- A team player who enjoys working in a close-knit environment
