Qualifications:
Must have, or be eligible for a current Colorado substitute authorization or teaching license. District 51 honors the 3 or 5 year substitute licenses, along with the Colorado teaching license. Acceptable demonstration of acceptable education and/or experience will be at the sole discretion of the District. Instructions on how to apply for your substitute authorization can be found here. Apply Online. Salary: $183.00 per day for Certified Teachers (PERA retirees) $168.00 per day for Certified Substitute Teachers (must hold an active Colorado Educator License or Colorado Substitute Authorization) $19.80 hourly for substitute Secretaries $18.50 hourly for substitute Special Education Paraprofessionals $17.96 hourly for substitute Health Assistants, Preschool Teacher/Director $17.00 hourly for substitute Para librarians, and Vision Screeners, Classroom Para $16.30 hourly for substitute Pre-School Paraprofessional positions.
