Key Responsibilities- Maintain professionalism when working independently and within a team environment
- Support Lean 5S initiatives to achieve a workplace that is clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized to help reduce waste and optimize productivity
- Attend and contribute to discourse during team meetings and leverage senior team members for knowledge and direction
- Develop manufacturing processes with limited oversight
- Verify manufacturing processes using inspection techniques, data collection, measurement, as directed
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and requirements
- Design manufacturing process equipment such as work holding fixtures, test methods, data collection systems, or other as directed
- Manage time efficiently to meet or exceed deadlines
- Assist in process capability studies, efficiency studies, or other
- Assist in process improvement efforts
- Participate in FMEA, PFMEA, Design Review, and other Engineering activities/functions
- Assist in Engineering Sustainment activities to support ongoing Manufacturing operations – to include but not limited to: restoring manufacturing processes to operation following failures, participating in process improvement efforts, providing training to others, updating process documentation
- Author documentation for new manufacturing processes
- Participate in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities as necessary and as directed
- Support NPI efforts as directed for entire product life cycle
- Interface with Vendors, Potential Vendors, or other outside entities as necessary
- Other duties as assigned

This position requires use of information and data which is subject to US Export Regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. 120 et seq., and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. 730 et seq. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S
Government.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder
- Must pass all pre and post hire background checks
- Must pass preemployment and subsequent drug screenings
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “Employee Possessor” eligibility and Federal Prohibitor status regarding ?rearms
- Able to read drawings and blueprints
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent industry experience in a related field. Higher level of education/degree will be considered in lieu of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Proficiency in GD&T
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Experience working with propellants, explosives, metal forming, machining, electro‑mechanical assembly, process development, welding, metal coatings, or chemical processes
- RARE (less than 10%): crawling, climbing, gripping, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, body‑twisting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., reaching, range‑of‑motion, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, climbing stairs, balancing.
- FREQUENT (up to 66%): walking, sitting, climbing on/off truck, reading, lifting up to 10 lbs.
- CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, hearing speech‑range, depth‑perception.
The working hours for this position are Monday - Thursday, 10 hour days (7 a.m.
- 5:30 p.m.).
This Engineer II role may be filled as posted or may be filled as an Engineer I role (also posted) depending on qualifications of applicants. Only one role will be filled.
This position will remain posted through noon on March 9, 2026. Role will be closed sooner if successfully filled.
