• Design airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids.
• Prepare engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents/technical specifications.
• Design general civil engineering projects, such as site design, sanitary wastewater, water, and hydraulic evaluation.

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.
• 1+ years of civil engineering experience; aviation related experience and knowledge of FAA criteria a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.
• Self‑motivated and able to handle a fast‑paced position.
• Goal and deadline oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

The work environment involves frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditions. Noise levels are usually high. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.

The job requires intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stooping, crawling, and lifting. Employees must frequently lift or move light equipment up to 20 pounds and may work near hazardous equipment, uneven ground, dust, gas or fumes, noise, temperature extremes, or at heights.
