Job Overview
Merrill Wealth Management, part of Bankof America, is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment services for individuals, companies, and institutions. The role offers an opportunity to develop as a Financial Solutions Advisor within the Advisor Development Program, starting with Securities Industry licensing and progressing to a full advisory position.
Responsibilities- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series7, and Series
66 licenses (or accepted alternatives) within the specified time frames. - Receive training in acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, and in evaluating clients’ complex financial pictures.
- Provide phone‑based, holistic financial advice and guidance to clients, identifying investment, savings, and liability solutions that align with their goals.
- Apply market knowledge and firm products to meet the diverse needs of clients, including the use of Bankof America and Merrill solutions.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to all relevant products.
- Develop a practice as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) after demonstrating success as an FSA, expanding to affluent and high‑net‑worth client segments.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, one‑on‑one coaching, and training programs offered through the Academy.
- Confidence working in a sales role.
- Strong client‑relationship skills through effective communication and collaboration.
- Proactive mindset, effective time management, and results‑driven approach.
- Ability to identify appropriate client solutions through application of new information.
- Application of relevant regulatory due diligence in daily activities and long‑term client strategies.
- Compliance with SAFE Act registration requirements, including background check.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services or sales experience.
- Adaptability to new technology or applications.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)
- Hours per week: 40
- Pay Range: $28.85 – $33.65 hourly, based on experience, education, and skills. Compensation is base only, not incentive eligible.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing.
