ADDITIONAL COMMENTSVolunteer/Intern probation officers are introduced to all duties of a probation officer. They write legal reports such as warrants, summons, terminations, extensions, and special reports. They shadow and mentor with probation officers in different types of caseloads to receive a well-rounded view of different populations within probation. They can attend Court hearings and attend trainings.
Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and can be flexible with your school/work schedule; however, we do ask that you have a set schedule and plan to work 10‑15 hours per week with us.
Volunteers/Interns must agree to and pass a criminal background check. Please note this position is unpaid.
