Job Description

Community Hospital/Canyon View Surgery Center

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Friday

The Scrub Tech is responsible for preparing for surgical procedures by assisting the surgeon's needs and collaborating with the surgery staff. This role involves ensuring that all supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready and functioning for the procedures.

• Assist in preparing the surgical suite for procedures.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and instruments for surgeries.
• Label medications on the sterile field.
• Assist with room turnover, including the cleanup of supplies, instruments, and equipment returns.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a surgical technician preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
• Orthopedic experience is preferred.
• BLS certification on hire.
