This position functions as a Systems Administrator as part of a dynamic team of IT professionals to assist with the development and support of on‑premises data center systems and cloud environments for the University. The position reports to the Director of Technology Infrastructure to provide datacenter operations, operating system and application installation and upgrades, cloud service management, customer support, and administration of identity and access management systems with commitment to information security.

Colorado Mesa University’s (CMU) Information Technology Department is welcoming applications for a Systems Administrator. As part of a talented team of systems and networking professionals, you will work collaboratively to provide support for CMU’s technology infrastructure, including the administration, maintenance, and optimization of servers, storage, virtualization platforms, integrations, enterprise applications, cloud services, and core campus services that sustain the university’s academic and administrative operations.

You will apply established security standards and best practices as part of routine system administration to help ensure reliability, stability, and compliance with CMU’s information security policies.
