Experienced Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in landlord/tenant law and eviction proceedings to join our growing legal team in Grand Junction. This position plays a critical role in managing eviction and civil litigation matters from intake through trial.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a high-volume caseload while maintaining strict deadlines and court compliance.

• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and motions under the supervision of a lawyer
• Facilitate law office activity, including drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
• Assist lawyers with trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings
• Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping the case filing system organized and records readily accessible
• Gather information about factual issues from the client

• Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, or a Bachelor’s degree is desired
• Three years of experience providing legal services in a law firm setting.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure for the County Court and Colorado Revised Statutes governing eviction procedures
• Recent experience with FEDs and related trial preparation

$25 - $32 hiring range DOE
