- Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
- Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-5:00pm
XLR Industries is a local manufacturer of world-class rifle chassis, components, and accessories. We are looking for a quality control specialist/assembly tech to join our team. This position is responsible for checking in incoming parts, parts moving to different areas of the shop, and going to outside vendors. They will also be responsible for the assembly and packaging of individual parts, and complete products, preparing them for shipping to customers and vendors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Deburr, buff, and inspect parts before and after sandblasting
- Report any defects found during inspection
- Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment
- Set up parts for the vibratory tumbler
- Perform final QC inspections and assist with product assembly
- Read and follow work orders, customer orders, and shipping instructions
- Assemble and pack customer orders, verifying accuracy
- Receive, organize, and track incoming parts and materials
- Create and manage purchase orders for outsourced parts
- Load and unload trucks (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Use company systems to manage and track tasks
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines
- Complete high-quality work efficiently and on time
- Assist with cycle counts and annual inventory
- Sort and process returned parts as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High level of attention to detail
- Legible handwriting
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to squat and lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, stoop, and bend regularly
- Comfortable walking and standing on cement floors for extended periods
