Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Temporary Registered Nurse to join our Short Stay Observation Unit (SOU). In this role, you'll provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals requiring observation, treatment, or short-term recovery before discharge or inpatient admission. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly identifying any changes or concerns. Administer medications, perform treatments, and document appropriately. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other team members to ensure continuity of care. Provide patient and family education as needed.

Qualifications:

Current RN license in the our client Colorado BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or observation unit experience preferred Strong critical thinking and communication skills Flexibility to work variable shifts, holidays, and Saturdays as needed Additional Information:
This is a temporary position with guaranteed 24 hours per week, though you will typically be scheduled 36 hours per week. Shifts will be 12 hours, scheduled between Monday and Saturday. Holiday coverage is required, and you must be available to work Saturdays.
