Location
Community Hospital, Canyon View Surgery Center – 4–10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care and explain procedures/treatment to patients and families.
- Ensure supplies and equipment are available for surgical procedures; manage charge marking and corrections.
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Maintain focus on surgical procedures in assigned room.
- Assist with room turnover, including clean‑up of supplies, instruments, and equipment returns.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and contribute to the advancement of professional perioperative nursing practices by communicating current research and trends related to a specialty.
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited RN program.
- At least ten (10) years of experience and training.
- BLS required upon hire; ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
