Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) y’s Regional Hospital, Grand Junction, Colorado.
Job OverviewThe RN is a professional caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients in the cardiovascular OR setting. The RN uses the nursing process, technology, evidence‑based practice and coordination with surgeons, anesthesiologists and fellow nurses to ensure safe, high‑quality care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
- Foster continuity and quality of care, prioritizing patient and family well‑being.
- Assess patient medical status upon admission and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
- Assist in developing individual care plans and executing procedures in the OR.
- Coordinate and communicate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting throughout peri‑operative care.
- BSN from an accredited program.
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain a Colorado RN license.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate).
- At least one year of cardiothoracic nursing experience in an acute care or comparable surgical setting (highly preferred).

Location:
St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, Grand Junction, Colorado.
Shift: 10 hours/day, Monday‑Friday with variable days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
Hourly pay range: $36.71 – $56.17, depending on experience.
