The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process with technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence‑based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members.

• We care for patients undergoing Cardiac, Electrophysiology, and Structural Heart procedures.
• 4 state‑of‑the‑art cath labs plus one hybrid room.
• Collaborative respectful culture with a tight‑knit, cohesive team.
• 3‑person teams (RN, scrub tech, and an additional tech or nurse).
• Documentation via Epic and Mac Lab.
• Combination of RN conscious sedation and anesthesia.

• 36 hours per week; 4 × 9‑hour shifts.
• Share on‑call obligations on nights, weekends, and holidays (requires 30‑minute response time).
• Regular lab hours 7:00 am‑4:30 pm Monday‑Friday.
• Call hours 4:30 pm‑7:00 am with 24‑hour coverage Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

• 1+ year of RN experience in a critical care setting (ICU, CVICU, Emergency Department, Telemetry) preferred.
• Cath lab experience preferred.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025. Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire.

• Assess:
  Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and seeks information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan:
  Uses assessment information and critical thinking skills to collaboratively develop individualized plan of care, involving patients, families, team, and physicians.
• Implement:
  Directs the interdisciplinary care team via delegation, coordination, and collaboration; provides or delegates care consistent with the plan of care.
• Evaluate:
  Reviews patient response to interventions, evaluates achievement of goals, revises plan of care as indicated.
• Professionalism:
  Promotes nursing profession, integrates legal and ethical standards, complies with regulatory standards, and provides accurate & timely documentation.

• Location:
  
  St. Marys Regional Hospital, Grand Junction, Colorado.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 36.
• Hourly rate: $36.71 – $56.17 (dependent on experience).
