• Deliver family-centered, evidence-based emergency nursing care using the nursing process; develop and implement care plans with attention to patient and family preferences, values, and needs.
• Communicate and advocate for patient and family goals as part of the interdisciplinary team; coordinate care across transitions and provide developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive education.
• Function effectively within nursing and inter‑professional teams; support shared decision‑making and apply practices that minimize risks during handoffs and transitions of care.
• Integrate best available evidence with clinical expertise and patient/family preferences; participate in quality improvement activities and identify opportunities to revise policies or practice guidelines as appropriate.
• Ensure safety through adherence to policies and procedures; recognize and report unsafe conditions and participate in routine documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Current RN license to practice in Colorado
• Bachelor’s Degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association with at least 3 months remaining before expiration on hire
• Ability to work in a hospital emergency department environment
• Additional demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within an inter‑professional care team
