Job Highlights- Develop, implement, and oversee infection prevention and control programs.
- Monitor and analyze infection data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct training and educational programs for healthcare staff on infection prevention best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal infection control regulations and guidelines.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain infection control policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support on infection control measures, including hand hygiene, PPE usage, and sterilization techniques.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infection prevention and control or related nursing role.
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards and regulatory requirements (CDC, OSHA, WHO, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to educate and train staff effectively.
