Registered Nurse – Hospice in Grand Junction, Colorado, United States. Travel - temporary assignment starting 09/08/2026 for 12 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,799–$1,938. Shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (3x12-hour rotating). This assignment occurs in an in-patient hospice setting that provides comprehensive end-of-life care in a home-like environment. • Provide skilled nursing care focused on symptom management, comfort, and quality of life for hospice patients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor changes, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues about goals of care and treatment options.
• Educate patients and caregivers on symptoms, medications, safety, and end-of-life planning.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records accurately and timely.
• Support emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients and families; facilitate family involvement in care decisions.

• Current, active Colorado RN license
• Hospice or palliative care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Ability to work in an inpatient hospice setting with rotating night shifts
• Completion of orientation prior to the first night shift (3 days, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
