Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process with technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members.

Essential Functions- Assess:
Perform an appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate, and seek information from the interdisciplinary team. - Plan:
Use assessment information and critical thinking to collaboratively develop individualized plans of care, involving the patient, family, team, and physicians. - Implement:
Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration, providing or delegating care consistent with the plan and guidelines. - Evaluate:
Evaluate patient response to interventions, review achievement of goals, and revise the plan of care as indicated. - Professionalism:
Promote the nursing profession, integrate legal and ethical standards, comply with regulatory standards, practice within scope of licensure, and maintain accurate documentation.

- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment.
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025.
- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, and patient needs.
- Frequent verbal communication with patients and providers, requiring listening and clear speaking.
- Manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment and perform computer use and typing.
- Required to lift, transfer, and move patients, including carrying supplies and equipment of varying weights.
- Ability to walk, assist with ambulating patients, and navigate crowded spaces with equipment.
- May be required to stand for extended periods.
- For driving roles: expected to drive a vehicle, requiring sight, reading, and navigation skills.

CompensationHourly rate: $36.71 – $56.17 (depending on experience)
