Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Role Overview

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team, providing advanced, procedure-focused patient care in a modern facility. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs throughout radiology procedures, collaborating with radiologists, technologists, and care teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and comfortable patient experiences. Responsibilities include supporting therapeutic interventions using advanced imaging technology and adhering to clinical best practices.

The role requires delivering comprehensive nursing care, maintaining patient safety, and providing education before, during, and after procedures.

• Current RN license and valid compact license transfer within 60 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); those with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years.
• Preferred:
  Prior experience in Interventional Radiology, critical care, or related specialties; minimum 2 years RN experience.

• Provide patient assessments, planning, and care execution during radiology procedures.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Support interventions with advanced imaging and evidence-based practices.
• Maintain safety, comfort, and education standards for patients.
• Respond promptly to on-call needs, arriving within 30 minutes.
• Perform manual tasks, including patient transfers, equipment manipulation, and navigating busy clinical settings.
