The PCU at Banner North Colorado Medical Center is a dynamic, high-acuity unit dedicated to providing exceptional care for a diverse patient population, including:
- Cardiac patients
- Post-catheterization lab patients
- Sepsis patients
- Trauma patients
- Gastrointestinal patients
30-bed unit with bedside monitoring in every room. 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring quality, focused care. Close collaboration with a comprehensive multidisciplinary team, including physician providers and the rehabilitation team. Schedule 3 x 12-hour shifts per week. Night shifts available.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in progressive care, telemetry, or critical care preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. A passion for patient-centered care and team collaboration.

POSITION SUMMARYThis position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
