Quality Supervisor

How Will You Make an Impact?

As a Quality Supervisor at our Grand Junction, CO facility, you will lead, coordinate, and review all activities of the Quality Engineers and QC RI and FPI Inspectors to ensure product quality meets internal, customer, and regulatory expectations.

Location:

On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facility

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What Will You Do?

  • Maintain compliance to Jabil Global Quality standards as well as AS9100 and ISO 9000.
  • Lead, coordinate, and support QC, and the quality team to meet production and quality requirements.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and develop quality personnel; manage performance and team development.
  • Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.
  • Create and maintain shift coverage schedules to optimize manpower and ensure coverage.
  • Participate in On Time Delivery (OTD) and CAC meetings per current Jabil structure.
  • Train QC personnel based on the industry specifications and standards as well as customer specifications to ensure they are effective at minimizing escapes to the customer.
  • Run FNI, DPM and other quality reports and analyze the data to understand the gaps in Jabil process in meeting customer requirements.
  • Monitor departmental work output and ensure inspection effectiveness.
  • Analyze quality data (OMI, DPM) to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How Will You Get Here?

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of AS9100 and Nadcap-NDT requirements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient computer usage including MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze quality reports and interpret customer requirements.
  • Proven track record of successful change management and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5–6 years of related experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Training in IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and other relevant industry standards.

This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

The pay range for this role is $77,500 - $139,500. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
