Travel Center Cashier​/Porter

Las Vegas Petroleum is a leading provider of fuel and convenience services, dedicated to serving our customers with exceptional quality and hospitality. We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Cashiers & Porters to join our team and enhance the customer experience at our travel center in Grand Junction, CO.

As a Cashier at Las Vegas Petroleum, you will play a vital role in managing customer transactions and ensuring a positive and efficient service experience. Your focus on customer satisfaction will be key as you handle cash and credit transactions while interacting with patrons.

For Cashiers

• Customer Service:
  Greet customers warmly, assist with their purchases, and address any questions or concerns
• Transaction Management:
  Process all cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Maintain Cleanliness:
  Ensure the cashier area and customer spaces are tidy and organized
• Product Knowledge:
  Stay informed about products and promotions to provide accurate information to customers
• Collaboration:
  
  Work together with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective service delivery
• Inventory Tasks:
  Assist in monitoring stock levels and help with restocking efforts as needed

For Porters

• Maintain cleanliness within the facility, focusing on restrooms, break areas, and entrances
• Perform daily cleaning routines such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Assist in minor repairs and maintenance tasks, alerting management to any major concerns
• Help with the setup and teardown of equipment for meetings and special events
• Monitor and maintain janitorial supply levels, reporting needs to management
• Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly and approachable
• Adhere to safety and health regulations at all times

Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is a plus but not required.
