Position: (USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Complies with company policies, procedures and ethics by implementing related action plans and applying them to business processes.

What you'll do
  • Operate forklift following Company standards and guidelines to safely pick up, move, and position merchandise pallets.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Receive and organize stocks and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow according to company policy and procedures.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs, offering guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting the company’s products and services.
  • Maintain the safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials according to company steel standard guidelines.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies: zone the area, stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged or out‑of‑date goods, set up and organize product displays, maintain modular integrity, and deliver merchandise.
  • Process defective merchandise following sanitation and food safety regulations, and monitor shrink, security risks, and safety.
  • Ensure club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging, ensuring products are selected and staged per company policy, performing occasional audits for accuracy.
  • Handle inventory by tracking goods, maintaining in‑stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor inventory practices.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts safely and correctly, reporting unsafe conditions or practices to management.
  • Use technology proactively to identify customers who need help, and assist them with technology services and items.
  • Identify shrink opportunities, problems with products or services, and take steps to fix them.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked correctly, and promptly fix any problems.
  • Embrace differences in people, cultures, and ideas, creating a workplace where associates feel supported and connected.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships, communicate with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
