Sales Associate - Grand Junction

We’re looking for part‑time Sales Associates who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales in a fun, fast‑paced retail environment.

• Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Assess and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions and offering recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Inform customers about current store events, promotions and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales.
• Address customer concerns and offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges where possible.
• Regularly communicate merchandise restocking and service needs to management.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts and travel as required.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers, hand‑held and mobile devices.
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers and handle interactions courteously and professionally.
• Basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems and learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.

• Frequently operate the cash register.
• Lift merchandise up to 25 lb and place or remove items up to 5–10 ft in height.
• Use ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Position body to kneel, bend, twist and stoop in stock rooms and on the sales floor.
• Exchange accurate information with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face, and with managers and coworkers.
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers and traveling to the stock room for stock retrieval and putaway.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts and travel as required.
• Identify and discern email and print instructions for merchandise layouts, associate schedules and standard operating procedures.
• Remain in a stationary upright position for approximately 80 % of the time.

• $15.87 to $16.37 per hour.

Hourly position. Starting pay: $15.87 per hour.
