Position Summary
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing, and processing returns in the store's Receiving area.
Position SummaryThe Receiving Clerk is responsible for merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing, and processing returns in the store's Receiving area.
Key Responsibilities- Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and ticket items.
- Maintain the Receiving area layout as directed.
- Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Support excellent customer service and stay informed about sales.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish positive working relationships.
Constant movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking. Occasional use of machinery, operation of vehicles, and working in various environments and conditions.
Judgment & Work StylePerforms tasks under supervision, using established procedures and some independent judgment. Recommends improvements to work processes.
