Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This fast‑paced role is for self‑directed, highly motivated individuals who are willing to travel and grow in the telecom industry. Candidates must reside in the Grand Junction, Colorado area.
Core Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of cooling systems.
- Conduct performance checks and routine maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season equipment.
- Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑outs.
- Accurately complete daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally.
- Perform additional duties as directed based on business and client needs.
- Level 2 or Universal EPA certification (required).
- 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
- May be required to pass a DOT physical and comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA standards.
- Availability for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs and occasional overnight stays.
Hourly rate: $30.00 – $38.00 (DOE). Additional performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, and other applicable compensation may be provided.
