An overview of this position entails… This position is responsible for helping families in crisis due to domestic violence or sexual assault by providing case management and therapeutic interventions, life skills training, case management and referral services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide face‑to‑face contact with active Hilltop’s Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Program participants including groups, families, and individuals, both in‑office and in‑home.
- Provide educational, supportive interventions for clients including crisis intervention counseling and safety assessments for residential and non‑residential clients.
- Provide direct service to clients, including but not limited to, meeting with walk‑in clients, conducting initial client interviews (including intake and assessment), providing referrals, developing safety plans, creating treatment plans, protection and civil orders and engaging in ongoing crisis intervention counseling for residential and non‑residential clients.
- Maintain a case load deemed appropriate by supervisors, which requires effective time management skills.
- Maintain daily client contact as appropriate.
- Maintain documentation and client files with accurate, directive case notes and all other forms required by the Program model.
- Data entry of client files into Client Track in a timely manner.
- Answer crisis line calls.
- Maintain and compile statistics and reports in a timely manner.
- Make presentations to the community and collaborate with other agencies.
- Introduce program services to shelter clients within three days after initial intake.
- Coordinate collaborative efforts to aid in the service of Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Program clients with other agencies within the community.
Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field or four years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations- CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- Certificate from Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) (preferred)

- The starting wage range for this role is $27.00 to $28.35 per hour.
- Part-time and full-time schedules that can fit your needs.
- The schedule for this specific position is full‑time position has a schedule of Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, and Fridays 8:30am-3:00p. This position also requires evenings, weekends, holidays and on call as necessary.
