Delivery Driver Helper

A leading food service distribution company is seeking a Delivery Driver Helper for its Grand Junction, CO facility. In this role, you will assist a professional driver in loading, unloading, and delivering products to customers, ensuring accuracy, safety, and excellent customer service throughout each route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist driver with loading and unloading trucks by hand, hand truck, or dolly
• Verify merchandise and orders for accuracy
• Deliver orders to customers in a timely, professional manner
• Climb in and out of trailers as needed
• Work in both hot and cold environments, including refrigerated areas
• Interact professionally with customers and staff
• Follow safe work practices at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or physical labor experience
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs consistently
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Basic math skills to count money and track merchandise
• Strong customer interaction and communication skills
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
• Willingness to work early morning shifts (as early as 2:00 AM)

About the Role:

This is a full-time, weekly-paid contract position based in Grand Junction, CO. Schedule is Monday through Saturday, with shifts potentially starting as early as 2:00 AM. Candidates should expect to work 50+ hours per week; this is a consistent, non-optional schedule commitment. No travel is required for this position.
