Highway Maintenance Specialist - Grand Junction - Traffic​/MTC Hybrid; CDL

CDOT has a vacancy for a Highway Maintenance Specialist in Grand Junction, CO.

Total annual compensation for this position is $53,940 ($53,940 base pay).

Base pay for this position is $2,074.62/biweekly ($53,940 - 54,000/annually). There are 26 biweekly pay periods in a year. The annualized hourly rate for this position is $25.93/hour, with an overtime rate of $38.90/hour.

This position will report to the Traffic Unit in Grand Junction during the summer months and will report to Rifle, CO during the winter. While working on the traffic crew this position will have regular travel throughout northwestern Colorado. This position will work in Traffic Operations, installing, maintaining and removing pavement markings and signage along the State highway and roadway system.

The anticipated work schedule from April through October is 10 hour days, 4 days per week with frequent out-of-town travel throughout the Region from Monday through Thursday each week. Some Fridays may also be worked during the season to make up for work missed due to bad weather.

• Plowing snow
