Controller Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Controller to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will oversee financial operations and ensure accurate project accounting for our construction projects. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of project accounting, including contract budget setup, change orders, billing, and subcontractor invoicing.

• Prepare and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of financial data.

• Execute journal entries and support month-end closing procedures to maintain compliance and accuracy.

• Utilize construction accounting software, such as Foundation Software, to streamline financial processes.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial data aligns with project goals and timelines.

• Monitor and manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of financial tasks and reporting.

• Support AIA billing processes and ensure documentation meets industry standards.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows.

• Stay updated on industry trends and technical specifics to support the evolving needs of the construction sector.

• Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to the overall success of projects through effective communication and teamwork.
